Debuted 3 years ago
Malan made his T20I debut for England in June 2017 against South Africa. He got a chance to play regularly against Pakistan and Australia in the absence of Jason Roy and Ben Stokes.

Comparing right after playing 50 games
“I like knowing where I stand for the team,” Malan told cricket website ESPN Cricinfo. That is why I said that when you play in the series, you know what you are going to do.

Not able to permanently make room

Jason Roy and Ben Stokes can come back anytime
He said, “I know clearly that people like Jason and Stokes can come back at any time. My job is to take advantage of all the opportunities that I have to put pressure on Eoin Morgan and the selectors. ”
