English batsman David Malan (33) has said that it is not right to compare him with Indian captain Virat Kohli. They are not even around Kohli. He said that after playing 50 matches maybe he can reach around Kohli. Malan bats at number three for England.

Malan made his T20I debut for England in June 2017 against South Africa. He got a chance to play regularly against Pakistan and Australia in the absence of Jason Roy and Ben Stokes.

Not able to permanently make room
Malan said that it is not in his hands to make a permanent place in the team. They want to score as many runs as possible. His record in the last 4-5 years has been excellent. He believes that to break any record would be to play and win continuously for England.
