Earlier, US President Donald Trump tweeted and appealed to forgive Navid. He said, “If the Iranian leaders do not forgive Nawid and hang him, I will be thankful to him”.
Guard was killed in 2018
According to the Iranian court, Navid was convicted of the murder of Gord Hussain Torkman of a water department. Wrestler and his other accomplices murdered Hussein on 2 August 2018 with a knife. At the same time, foreign media reports said that Nawid was forcibly confessed after being tortured. His fault was that he demonstrated against the government.
