The war between Russia and Ukraine completed two weeks on Thursday. Even on the nineteenth day of the war, there is no sign of it stopping, although the attitude of both the countries has softened somewhat. While Ukraine has backed away from its insistence on NATO membership, Russia has said that it does not want to topple the current government of Ukraine but wants to make the country neutral. Meanwhile, US Vice President Kamala Harris has called for an international war crimes investigation against Russia.
Russia is seeking a list of all evacuation vehicles and officers accompanying them, and prohibits any communication equipment except for Red Cross representatives, the Kyiv Independent reported. Corridors are planned for Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv and Mariupol.
Nearly a million people evacuated from cities in Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky said about 100,000 people were evacuated from Ukrainian cities in two days. Facebook has relaxed rules allowing violent speech against “Russian invaders”.
