A complaint has been filed against actress Kangana Ranaut at Mumbai's Khar and Azad Maidan police station for tweeting a controversial tweet about Mumbai Police. Complaints have been lodged by Santosh Deshpande in Khar and Congress worker Nizamuddin Ryan in Azad Maidan.
Complainant Santosh Deshpande said on Saturday, 'I have filed an online complaint against the actress, because her statements have damaged Maharashtra's pride and self-esteem. His tweets are provoking, leading to several protests across the state. He also said that if the Mumbai Police did not take cognizance of his complaint then he would go to court.
Deshpande further said, 'The tweets made by the actress are not correct and these are statements provoking people. She has misused her freedom of speech and expression and she is also misusing social media to spew venom in public.
